Gift Voucher Terms
1. Validity
Damian Philpott Gift Vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase, unless a different period is expressly shown before purchase. The expiry date is shown with the Gift Voucher where available.
2. Who can use a Gift Voucher
A Gift Voucher may be purchased for yourself or for another person. Where recipient details are supplied, you are responsible for providing accurate information and for having a legitimate reason to provide the recipient's contact details. A Gift Voucher may be linked to the recipient's customer account where the system supports that feature.
3. What a Gift Voucher can be used for
Gift Vouchers may be used towards eligible Damian Philpott services and, where the checkout specifically allows it, eligible retail products. They cannot be exchanged for cash.
4. Part payment and remaining balance
If the purchase or appointment costs more than the Gift Voucher balance, the difference can be paid using another accepted payment method. If it costs less, the unused balance remains on the Gift Voucher until it is used or expires. Where the checkout allows multiple Gift Vouchers, more than one balance may be applied to the same transaction.
5. Combining with other benefits
Gift Vouchers may be combined with Loyalty points, discount codes or other permitted benefits where the live checkout allows that combination. A promotional rule may restrict combination in a particular transaction if that restriction is clearly shown.
6. Lost codes or access
Treat a Gift Voucher code as something of value. If a Gift Voucher is linked to an account or can otherwise be reliably identified, contact us if you lose access. We may replace or secure it after reasonable verification. We are not responsible for value used by another person before you notify us where the code was shared or not kept secure, except where the law provides otherwise.
7. Refunds for purchases paid with a Gift Voucher
Where a refund is due for a transaction paid using a Gift Voucher, the relevant amount will normally be returned to the Gift Voucher balance rather than paid out as cash. If more than one payment method was used, the refund may be allocated between those methods.
8. Cancelling a Gift Voucher purchase
Where a Gift Voucher is purchased online and the Distance Selling (Jersey) Law 2007 gives the purchaser a cancellation right, that statutory right applies. A Gift Voucher that has already been redeemed, partly redeemed or transferred into a completed transaction may affect the ability to cancel to the extent permitted by law. After any applicable statutory cancellation period, Gift Voucher purchases are not normally refundable simply because the purchaser or recipient changes their mind.
9. Expiry
Unused value may expire after the stated validity period. An extension may be offered at our discretion in exceptional circumstances, but is not guaranteed unless required by law.
10. Fraud and misuse
We may suspend a Gift Voucher while investigating suspected fraud, duplication, unauthorised generation or misuse. A valid customer balance will not be removed merely because an investigation is taking place.
11. Statutory rights
Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
