PRIVATE APPOINTMENTS

Appointments

Cancellation & rescheduling +

Every appointment is reserved individually for you. My diary is deliberately structured around private, one-to-one appointments, so I ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or move your appointment.

Appointments cancelled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours’ notice are subject to a charge of 50% of the booked service value.

Appointment reminders are provided as a courtesy. Responsibility for remembering and managing the appointment remains with the client.

Missed appointments +

If you do not attend your appointment and have not cancelled beforehand, a 50% charge of the booked service value applies.

Repeated missed appointments or late cancellations may require payment in advance before another appointment can be reserved.

Late arrivals +

Please arrive on time. If you arrive late, I will do what I reasonably can with the time remaining.

If there is not enough time to complete the service safely or to the appropriate standard, the appointment may need to be shortened or rescheduled. The original booked service price may remain payable where appointment time has been lost because of late arrival.

02
THE SERVICE

Services & Colour

Service satisfaction +

Every service begins with a consultation so that we can agree what we are working towards before the service begins.

If you have a genuine concern about the result of your service, please contact me within 7 days of your original appointment. I will review the result with you and, where the service has not achieved what was agreed during consultation or requires reasonable corrective work, I will arrange an appropriate adjustment.

A change of mind, request for a different result after the appointment, or dissatisfaction with something that formed part of the agreed consultation would not normally qualify as corrective work. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected.

Consultations +

Good hair starts with a conversation. Your consultation considers your hair, its condition, previous chemical services, face shape, lifestyle, maintenance requirements and what you would like to achieve.

Where I believe a requested service is unsuitable, unrealistic or may compromise the condition of your hair, I may recommend an alternative or decline to carry out the service.

Patch testing & colour +

Certain colour services require a valid patch test at least 48 hours before your appointment.

Where a patch test is required, the colour service cannot proceed without a valid test being recorded. A new test may be required if a previous test has expired, circumstances have changed or another test is considered necessary.

If the required patch test has not been completed in time, your colour appointment may need to be changed or rescheduled.

Payment +

Appointments are normally charged after the appointment unless you choose an available online-payment or deposit option during booking.

Online payments are processed securely through the payment provider presented during checkout. Where the service agreed during consultation differs materially from the original booking, any difference in price will be discussed before proceeding.

Packages must be paid for before they can be used.

Under 16 appointments +

The Under 16 rate is exclusively available to children of existing Damian Philpott clients. If the parent or guardian is not an existing client, the normal adult service rate applies.

A parent or appropriate guardian may be required to remain present depending on the child’s age and the service being carried out.

03
VALUE / REWARDS

Packages & Gift Cards

Packages +

Packages are intended for clients who visit regularly and are purchased in advance. Payment must be completed before a package can be used.

Each package has its own qualifying services, number of appointments and validity period. Those conditions are shown when the package is purchased.

Packages are personal to the client who purchased them and cannot normally be transferred, exchanged for cash or combined with another promotion unless specifically stated. Unused appointments remaining after the stated expiry date may expire.

Gift Cards +

Damian Philpott Gift Cards are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.

Gift Cards may be used towards eligible services and, where specifically stated, retail products. They cannot be exchanged for cash.

If an appointment costs more than the remaining Gift Card balance, the difference can be paid using another accepted payment method. If it costs less, the remaining value stays on the Gift Card until used or expired.

Loyalty, referrals & promotions +

From time to time Damian Philpott may offer loyalty rewards, referral rewards, promotional prices, discount codes, packages or other benefits.

The live qualifying conditions, reward values, validity periods and exclusions shown within the website or My Account at the time will apply.

Unless specifically stated otherwise, promotions cannot be exchanged for cash or combined with another offer. Loyalty points and referral rewards are linked to the relevant client account and have no independent cash value.

THE SHOP

Retail Products

Products purchased in person +

If a product is faulty, damaged or not as described, please contact me and provide proof of purchase where available.

Change-of-mind returns for products purchased in person are at my discretion. For hygiene reasons, opened or used products cannot normally be accepted for a discretionary change-of-mind return.

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory consumer rights.

Products purchased online +

Online purchases are subject to the applicable rights for distance purchases. Delivery, cancellation and return information will be provided during purchase and with your order.

Where a statutory cancellation or return right applies, these terms do not restrict it.
